On Friday, November 21, the Mankato West Jazz program will present a concert in the West Auditorium featuring Jazz I and Jazz II. Special guest soloists will be Jeff Rinear, trombone, and Mark Buselli, trumpet. Rinear is director of Jazz Studies at the University of St. Thomas and teaches in the Apple Valley school district. He also performs with the professional big band JazzMN as well as a variety of shows in the Twin City area. Buselli is a trumpet clinician and soloist and teaches at Ball State in Indiana. The concert will begin at 7:00 pm and features a wide variety of jazz. Admission is free.
The guest artists will also offer free jazz clinics on the 21st at West - these are free and open to the public:
